After shooting the sunrise we walked back to Weerona got breakfast and hopped on the 8:42 train with Justin and Austin and began our journey to Manly Bay.
We pulled into Central Station and had to walk all the way to Circular Quay to catch the ferry because there was a race going on in the city.
We caught the ferry and made our way to Manly Bay. Now, Sunday is the best day to do travel in Sydney because it is only $2.50 total to travel on public transportation. That includes ferries, trains, and buses.
When we pulled into Manly we got lunch at Nando's (which I was excited about because it is an English restraunt that I had back in England that I enjoyed). After Lunch we started to walk across the street and Austin was the only who made it across. While he was on the other side he saw a bike rental store and got the idea to rent bikes for the day. So, we rented bikes and rode up to a park with multiple lookouts.
On the way to the park we found a cool college. I couldn't tell if it was a seminary or a college of business because it had signs advertising each one differently on the same building.
We got to the park and rode to the lookouts and below are the pictures. So on some of these photos I forgot I was shooting in manual so they are really bad quality.
From the left it's Justin, Makenna, Austin, then me.
This is our biker gang looking tough.
After the bike ride and a few hills we walked down the main boulevard and shopped for souvenirs and found ourselves at Four Pines Brewery. We got two flights with five beers each and split them between the four of us so we were able to try all ten beers.
We then walked back to the wharf and had some gelato while waiting for the ferry.
The ferry ride back was at sunset so it made for some pretty views and pictures.
We arrived back at Circular Quay snapped a few shots and then headed off to Harry's Cafe de Wheels for dinner and then caught the train back at Martin Place and headed home.
Total Miles Walked: 15.64
I love it! It just looks like you're having a blast! (I might have to give your parents some money for that licorice you mentioned before..)
